Bonbook Terms of Use
Last updated: October 8, 2026
What Bonbook is
Bonbook is an app to log your reading: books, sessions, progress, ratings, favorite quotes and goals. By using it you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
Your account
To use Bonbook you sign in with Google: your data is stored with your account so you can see it on other devices. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
Your content
What you log (books, sessions, notes and quotes) is yours. We only use it to show it to you and sync it. The quotes you save are short excerpts from their authors' works; use them personally and respect copyright.
Book data
The titles, authors, page counts and covers found online come from third-party services and may contain errors. You can always correct them in your edition.
Your books
Bonbook doesn't offer books to read or promote any particular store: it only helps you log the ones you already have. That's why we don't control where or how you get your books.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app for illegal purposes, to try to access other people's data or to harm the service.
Zero tolerance: posting offensive, sexual, violent or hateful content, or content that infringes the rights of others, is not allowed, nor is harassing or abusing other readers. If you do, we delete the content and may suspend or delete your account. Report it with "Report" (on quotes, people and clubs) or email us at info@verticalhn.com; we review every report within 24 hours.
No warranties
Bonbook is provided "as is". We do our best to make it work well and not lose data, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free or available at all times.
Contact
For questions or to report content, email us at info@verticalhn.com. We reply within one or two days.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the change is important, we will let you know in the app. The date above shows the latest version.
